”La Piccada”, Vence

The location:

The villa is within walking distance from the centre of St. Jeannet – a charming and unspoiled French medieval village.
It is a lovely Provence house, high on a 2000 m2 private, secluded and peaceful plot, with orange and olive trees, built in terraces. From the house and the terraces is a wonderful panoramic view down the valley and the Mediterranean Sea.
In the village is the local baker, butcher, grocery store and several good restaurants and cafes. Vence is located approx. 8 km from the villa and the trip to central Nice and Antibes takes 35-40 minutes. There is no need for a car, as there are good bus connections from the village.

The house:
The house is around 160 m2, consists of 3 staggered levels with a total of 8 beds in 4 bedrooms. The house is oriented to the southwest and has a magnificent view from all rooms, terraces and verandas.

Ground floor:
From the main entrance leads a staircase with a few low steps down to the ground plane. Here is the large, rustic living room with access through French doors to the pool area, kitchen with access to a glass veranda, which offers access to one of the terraces. From the living room is access to 2 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. One bedroom has exit to the terrace.

First floor:
2 large bedrooms, one with access to sun terrace, a spacious bathroom, WC and exit to the garage.

The house has the following facilities:

4 large bedrooms all have fantastic views. 2 of the rooms open onto private terraces. One bedroom with 2 beds 90 x 200 cm. The other rooms are equipped with double beds in 140 x 200 cm. additionally; there are 2 extra guest beds that can be placed in the rooms of your choice. 2 bath rooms and 2 toilets.Large, rustic living room (40 m2) with beamed ceiling and fireplace.
Direct access to the terrace and swimming pool. Dining table with seating for 12 people; 3 terraces and garden, 6 sunbeds and gas barbecue. View of sea and mountain views from all terraces

Pool (5 x 10 m, open from March to October). The pool has an electronic alarm system for the protection of small children.

Kitchen fully equipped for 12 people. Dishwasher, fridge / freezer, oven, coffee maker and food processor.

Enclosed glass porch with wonderful views over the valley and direct access from the kitchen. Exit to the terrace

Outdoor summer kitchen (30 m2) with separate outdoor dining area for 10-12 people. Flush-mounted grille. Here life is going on in the evenings during the summer months.

Garage and private parking for 4-5 cars.

All rooms and patios are furnished with stylish and functional furniture

TV, radio, CD and telephone, Internet connection via cable or Wi-Fi, washer and dryer.
For young children: 1 cot and 1 highchair

Pets not allowed.

Activities:
There are several good golf courses (9.) And tennis courts in the area – swim in the Mediterranean (12 km.) – Countless walks along marked trails can be taken directly from the house across the pristine natural area that begins behind the house. Approximately 1 hour to several alpine ski resorts (Isola 2000 has 120 km of groomed pistes in all categories). Here is the opportunity to combine golf and skiing in the same holiday!
The area is known for its museums in Nice, Antibes, Cagnes, St.Poul de Vence, etc., and through the year arranged concerts and exhibitions in St. Jeannet and surrounding villages.
